About the event

As beekeepers we are cognizant of the environmental factors that can affect honey bees and pollinators as a whole. As people moving through the world we are witnesses to societal issues intersecting and sometimes running up against our local habitats and their sustainability. In fact how much we embrace the ebbs and flows of sustainably - a life that doesn’t extract but gives space for nourishment and longevity - is directly interlinked with how we interact with the world around us. Hyper productivity vs rest, cycles of life and death, the rise and fall of the moon and sun. All are indicators of the natural rhythms of nature of which we are part.

How can we better understand these cycles here in Miami? What does it look like to grow a garden for pollinator health? What is a climate mitigation zone? How can pollinator health contribute to food sovereignty?

Join us for some collective learning at Cerasee farm. Monday, September 4th

from 11am-1pm.

In order to make this workshop accessible to everyone, we offer the following price tiers.  Please read below, choose the tier that works best for you, and enter that amount as your ticket price.

*PRICING IS PER PERSON*

HIVE ($60):

This is our solidarity price. It covers the full price of your experience with the bees and fully subsidizes another community member's participation, as well. You should consider this price if you can meet all your needs comfortably and can afford extra. This helps support our ongoing work and community as a whole.

BEE BREAD ($30):

This tier is full price. It pays us fairly, covers costs, and allows for us to share some funds with Urban Green Works. You should consider this price if most of your basic needs are met, comfortably.

BEESWAX ($15):

This is a reduced price. It covers your experience with the bees without having to over-stretch your budget. You should consider this tier if you are able to meet your basic needs but do so under some stress.

HONEY ($5):

This tier is a reduced price. It covers your experience with the bees and should be considered if you are under constant stress about meeting your needs, and often are not able to partake in leisurely, self-care activities. We got you!
